Google Welcomes Back BMW

As quick as Google throws out BMW, they welcome them back in.

Apparently BMW’s response was as quick as one of their cars when Google banned them from their index for violating their rules. As fast as you could say ‘M3′, BMW soon got around to correcting the errors. The webspam team at Google have now submitted the site for re-inclusion and all should be well.

God only knows why their agency would want to use unethical techniques to promote a brand as powerful as BMW. I mean they are the 5th biggest brand in Europe anyway. I imagine heads have already rolled over this.

But a word of warning from Google engineer, Matt Cutts: “Google will be expanding its efforts on webspam in non-English languages this year. Just as a reminder, Google’s quality guidelines have been available for several years in many languages.”

You have been warned!
