Panda Reaches Half Million Mark

The Fiat Panda, Italy's second best selling car behind the Punto, has now passed the half million production mark.

Although built in Poland and a huge success across Europe, the Panda has also seen sales growth in Asian markets like Taiwan and Malaysia, where Proton and Hyundai usually dominate. With a long list of awards to its name - including the prestigious Car of the Year 2004 and 2005 title - the Fiat Panda looks set to continue this remarkable sales trend and has been a key player in the revival of Fiat Automobile.

Over 16,000 Pandas have been sold in the UK since the car’s launch in 2004, and has expanded the range with a 4x4 and Turbo Diesel.
