Well if your local newspaper isn’t working, the billboard on that busy street corner is fully booked for the rest of the year and even your website is struggling to bring in new business, you could always do what LINGsCARS has done and bring out your C.M.R.L (that’s Chinese Mobile Rocket Launcher to you and me).
I spotted this “lethal” mobile marketing billboard from almost a mile away as I was heading South down the A1(M) from Durham.
The Mobile launcher is parked in a field right next to the motorway and for one brief moment I thought we were being invaded. Mind you, this is Tony Blair country and it’s certainly one way of providing protection for your Prime Minister. Anyway I “risked it” and pulled over onto the hard shoulder and tried to get a closer inspection.
I’m not entirely sure what type of military vehicle it is, but I’m assuming it’s Chinese due to the Red Star emblazened on the doors. I didn’t get too close in case it was loaded, but if any military experts are reading this, then please enlighten us.
Whatever it is it sure had the desired effect and is certainly one way to get your business off the ground (pardon the pun).
Ive dropped Ling an email and am waiting for a response, maybe she can shed some light as to what it is and how it came about being here. I wonder if you need a licence to own such a thing and can you drive it on the road?
Seems the perfect way to get your creditors to pay up on time.
