Well it does 600 mpg, runs on batteries, is exempt from road tax and will exclude you from the London Congestion charge. It will probably lose you a lot of friends at the same time but hey, who cares, this is the future of eco-friendly transport.
Which is why I’d rather walk to work than be seen in one of these. I mean you’d live longer for a start. Although its economy is impressive, the design leaves a lot to be desired and is it safe? I am sure you would be fine if you were hit by another G-Wiz or a pedal bike but I wouldn’t fancy my chances against a London taxi or double decker bus. Give me the pea car anyday of the week.
And at £7,699 it not exactly cheap either. But it’s a start and I suppose it will save you money in the end and I’m all for saving the planet.
Has anybody bought or test driven one of these? What is it like? Does it feel safe?
