Birdseye Pea Car

I was watching TV this morning and noticed the new BirdsEye TV ad featuring a tiny little pea car. As the car moved along the panels started falling off and it ended up with just the frame on wheels.

What a cute little car it was. Everybody say ahhhhhhh!

I'm trying to get some information on it and if anybody knows who's behind it, please let us know.

    Where did you get the advert from?

    Campaigning for them to build it sounds like a good idea and a bit of fun Jay.

    We need a little banner or something that people can put on their blogs linking to a campaign blog.

    I'm happy to support it, should get a few laugh's :-)

  • Well I have contacted the manufacturers and asked if they can build smaller scale models, they are going to get back to me with that information. I have also asked for some more detailed pictures so hopefully they will help out and I'll post them on this website.

  • It's amazing that a pea could cause so much interest!!! But I want one too!!

    I think to drive around the streets of London in a "Veggie" car would be fantastic!! It's not only a good concept for the environmental issues but, may also stop road rage!

  • The Pea car was custom made and took six weeks to build. It is based on the chassis of an off-road go-kart and its head lamps are from a VW Beetle.
    Its indicators are from a Lancia.
    All the rest is bespoke.

  • I would really love one of those pea cars; it would be the best thing ever! I definitely think we should start a campaign to get a car company to make it. A model of the pea car would be good but not as great as the real thing.
