- Hyundai UK have announced October 1st as the official launch date for its facelift Hyundai Getz.
The new Getz will have air conditioning as standard across the entire range with excellent levels of specification and a 5 year warranty as standard. This makes the Getz the only supermini in the UK with air conditioning and a 5 year warranty as standard across the range.
The Hyundai Getz Facelift has had extensive re-designs to both the interior and exterior. Most notibly a re-designed front profile including new headlamps, front bumper and fog lamps (fog lights on CDX models only).

The new Getz line up has been planned taking into consideration the introduction of the new Hyundai Amica in 2006 which will enable Hyundai to also compete within the Mini segment.
3 new colours have been added to the range to go alongside established colours like Ebony Black and Hip Hop Red. These are Sky Blue Metallic, Space Silver Metallic and Midnight Grey.
Pricing is consistent with the out-going model line up, with prices starting from £7495 for the 1.1 GSi 3dr.
There’s also a new 1.4 petrol engine which will replace the 1.3 unit and a more powerful CRTDi diesel engine producing 109 bhp with improved torque.
